The Mastery Paradigm™ Official Podcast - Episode 00: The Prologue

There's a voice inside of you that's already told you everything that you need to do to change your life. To become the version of yourself that you see in your mind. The best possible version.

You hear it every day, almost all the time. At least you used to. But then you just stopped listening.

There's a kind of ache that most people carry a quiet unease. Like something's not right. Like you're living a life that doesn't belong to you.

Like you were supposed to be somewhere else. Anywhere else. Doing something else. Something more meaningful with purpose, more fulfilling.

This wasn't how it was supposed to be. You were supposed to be so much further along in life. Have achieved more of your goals. Been more successful.

You were supposed to be happy.

A few years ago, when you looked ahead in your life, you looked forward with hope and wonder. And dreamed about all the things that you would accomplish. Where you would go. Where life would take you, and how happy you would be if you could just get there.

But now, instead of looking forward with hope, you look around at the present. With anxiety. With restlessness. With frustration and with impatience.

Why am I still stuck here? Stuck in this place that I've been trying to get out of for so long? When will I make progress? Meaningful progress. When will I find what it is that I'm supposed to do? My thing that I can be proud of. The thing that drives me. When will I finally achieve my goals?

When will I be happy?

You've tried to change before. In fact, you've probably tried to change many times. You've tried again and again, but nothing really seems to stick. You've set goals. Real goals. Definite and specific goals. You may have even sought the help of a coach, or a mentor, or bought a course and laid out a plan, and it may have worked for a little while until it didn't.

You fell off.

You stopped showing up. Maybe only a little at first, but then altogether. And it became just another before picture with no after another start and no finish. Another failed attempt at the goal that you so desperately wanted.

And it's frustrating. Actually, it's more than frustrating. It's disheartening. Like, maybe it's just not in the cards for you. Maybe you weren't meant to be successful. Maybe you'll never reach your goals.

Maybe you weren't meant to find happiness.

But you feel like you're doing everything right. Like you're taking the right steps and putting in the work. You smile when you're supposed to. You say the right things. You show up for people and do the things that they ask of you, way more than any of them would do for you.

But you never seem to get anywhere. Never seem to see any real progress.

And something inside of you is restless. Like your soul is trying to send a message through your body. But all it can manage is tension, fatigue, frustration, anxiety. Or that feeling of “I don't know how much longer I can do this.”

If you know what I'm talking about, if any part of that has you saying “yes,” you're in the right place.

I was there too. I was living a totally normal and successful life in corporate America for over a decade.

I had goals, dreams, plenty of opportunities and upward mobility ahead of me. I was good at it, and I liked it. In fact, I loved it for a long time.

Until one day I didn't.

One day I looked around and nothing felt the same. I noticed, like I was living life on autopilot. Simply getting through the days. Instead of building a life that I was proud of.

And once I had that feeling, I could never un-feel it. Never quite shake it. And that quiet little stirring. That dull ache. That restlessness. But it was always there.

It was there in the mornings when it took me longer and longer to pull myself out of bed. Because I was dreading the day. It was there when I would get irritated by the littlest things. Things that never used to irritate me. It was there when I stopped feeling hungry and started skipping meals or started bingeing in other areas.

It was there when my hobbies. That used to bring me so much joy. And then I looked forward to, no longer seemed appealing. It was there when I stopped interacting with the real world and stopped calling and texting friends and family and leaving messages on read and finding myself avoiding social interactions altogether.

And it was there, and potentially the loudest in those quiet moments, especially at two in the morning when I was laying wide awake full of anxiety and fear about where I was going, what I was supposed to be doing, and why I was in this place.

Reliving every mistake I've ever made. And feeling sorrow and grief for a life that I'd never even known. A version of me that I could see so clearly in my mind. But I didn't know how to get to.

And time was running out.

That's what The Mastery Paradigm™ is about.

It's not about success or productivity hacks, or “the 10 steps to live your best life.”

This journey is about that quiet ache that's stirring, that never ending restlessness. That voice.

It’s about the war that's being fought inside of you every day. The Mastery Paradigm™ isn't a course or a program. And I'm no guru.

The Mastery Paradigm™ was a calling. An invitation to walk and to map a path so that others could walk it too.

It's a remembering. A revelation about who you are now and who you were always meant to become.

It's real. It's raw. It's devastatingly honest.

But it's also full of grace and reconciliation.

It leads you back to the path that you've unknowingly strayed away from, with open arms and a loving embrace.

In the episodes ahead, we'll talk about that journey. We'll talk about things like The Compass, The Monster, The Resistance, The Abyss, The Altar and the version of you that lives on the other side of it all.

We'll cover how to redefine and truly understand Success.

We'll talk about Burnout and why it's so dangerous. Why you failed your goals so many times before, and how to master them going forward.

And most importantly, we'll talk about how to build that version of your life that you see so clearly in your mind at 2 a.m..

And how to truly Master yourself forever.

But today, right now, all you need to know is this; You're not broken. You're not lost. You're not too late.

But you are misaligned.

But that, we can change.

And it changes with learning how to listen again.

That voice never went quiet. You just stopped trusting it. But it's still there. It's still calling you home.

This is the journey of The Mastery Paradigm™. And it starts right now.

Let's walk.
